The action takes place after World War II, when a huge creature attacks war-torn Japan.
Toho has revealed the trailer for Takashi Yamazaki’s upcoming film Godzilla Minus One. The video can be viewed on YouTube.
Set in Japan in the late 1940s, the film shows the creature attacking a country brought to its knees by defeat in World War II.
In explaining the film’s title in a press release, Toho was very succinct: “After the war, Japan’s economic situation has been reduced to zero. Godzilla appears and plunges the country into a negative state.”
The premiere of the picture is scheduled for December 1, 2023, it will be the 37th film dedicated to Godzilla.
It was previously reported that the first full trailer of the documentary film Superpower (Superpower) by American actor and director Sean Penn was released.
