See what Disney princesses would look like if they were characters from a horror movie
Although many of them are brave and determined, fighting for their goals, Disney princesses have always been portrayed in the most beautiful and full of sweetness. But have you ever wondered what they would look like if they were part of a horror movie?
Some classic Disney characters will already get their dark version. The greatest example of this is Winnie the Pooh, who became the protagonist of the horror “Winnie the Pooh: Blood and Honey”, released in January of this year.
Because of this, the artist Jeffrey Thomas decided to remake the image of the princesses, for a more horrifying aspect. He used the Deviantart portal to make the arts and published on the platform. But he didn’t just make the 12 official Disney princesses, but other characters that should be part of this select group from Mickey Mouse’s house.
Check out the horror movie version of some of the Disney princesses and other characters:
Snow White (Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs)
Cinderella (Cinderella)
Aurora (Sleeping Beauty)
Ariel (The Little Mermaid)
Belle (Beauty and the Beast)
Mulan (Mulan)
Rapunzel (Tangled)
Esmeralda (The Hunchback of Notre-Dame)
Megara (Hercules)
Tinkerbell (Peter Pan)
Alice (Alice in Wonderland)
Remember that for a character to become an official Disney princess, she needs to follow 5 specific rules, which are:
- Be part of an animation
- Being human or at least half human
- Be the protagonist of the story
- Being born a princess, marrying royalty, or committing a heroic act
- Bring a good financial return to the studios
Currently, the group consists of 12 characters, namely: Snow White, Cinderella, Aurora, Ariel, Belle, Jasmine, Pocahontas, Mulan, Tiana, Rapunzel, Merida and Moana.
