Naruto’s unreleased episodes have been postponed to improve production quality
This Tuesday, the 29th, the production committee of “Naruto” announced on the anime’s official website that the 4 unpublished episodes, which will be released to commemorate the 20th anniversary of production, had their premiere postponed. At first, the first chapter of this new wave would premiere on Sunday, September 3, and the rest would be released in the following weeks.
In the statement, which was also shared on social media, the team revealed the reason for the advance: the broadcast of these episodes was postponed so that they could make “additional quality improvements” (via Jovem Nerd).
The production committee did not reveal what the new premiere date for the episodes will be, but it has already said that once defined, the days will be announced on the anime’s official social networks and that this news should come soon.
To finalize the announcement, the staff apologized to fans who had been looking forward to the first new Naruto material in six and a half years. In Japan, instead of the unreleased episode, a recap of “Boruto: Naruto Next Generations” will be broadcast, which will be a compilation of the most popular scenes from the production.
