Find out how Joker and Harley Quinn became DC Comics’ greatest villain couple
In the movie “Joker”, released in 2019, we had the opportunity to find out in detail a little more about Arthur Fleck’s life before becoming one of DC Comics’ greatest villains. In it, it is revealed that the man suffered from psychological problems, which ended up being made worse due to his miserable life.
The first murder committed by him happened while returning home, by subway, after losing his job for dropping his gun in his pocket, when he is attacked by three employees of Wayne Enterprises, for having thought that Fleck would have made fun of the trio during a attempted harassment of a woman.
After that fact, everything in his life begins to get worse and worse, leading him to become increasingly cold in his actions, even killing his mother. Arthur is then sent to an asylum, where he meets Harleen Quinzel, one of the psychiatrists who worked at the center.
Until that moment, the only wrong thing the girl had done was flirt with her professors while she was in medical school so she could get good grades. There, they ended up falling madly in love and Harleen helped Joker escape the sanitarium several times, where she ended up also being imprisoned.
The couple escapes from prison after an earthquake that happened in the city of Gotham, with the girl becoming definitively Harley Quinn, or simply Harley Quinn, becoming a partner in crime, obeying and believing everything her beloved said.
