Some scenes from ‘Fate: The Winx Saga’ nod to its origins; find out which ones!
Launched in 2004, the animation ‘O Clube das Winx’ became part of the morning programming of several children, remaining as a great reference among the works destined to the magical universe of fairies until the present day.
As a result of the huge success, the drawing received some adaptations, the most recent of which is the live-action series entitled ‘Fate: The Winx Saga’, an original production Netflix released in 2021, which was canceled after just two seasons.
Despite some events in the drawing being modified to better fit the narrative created for the streaming screens, the origins were not abandoned, and at certain times, the production that brings the Alfea fairies in the flesh made iconic references to their original trajectory. .
With that in mind, below are five moments from the first season of ‘Fate: The Winx Saga’ that nod to ‘The Winx Club’. Check out!
1. Solaria ring
Stella’s ring that Bloom ends up losing in the series is also present in the animation, since in the drawing, the solaria ring turns into a staff that allows the fairy to cast spells and even teleport to other places.
2. Romance between Beatrix and Riven

In the animation, Darcy, the calm and seductive middle sister of the Trix, has a great love interest in Riven and, at one point, ends up seducing him. In the live-action production, the Trix have not yet appeared, but in the first season, Beatrix makes clear reference to the trio of witches and enemies of the Winx, so much so that she ends up repeating the romance and ends up getting involved with Riven.
3. Fights

The fights between Terra and Stella caused by plants in the room happened frequently in the animation. However, unlike the series, the scenes were the result of disagreements between Flora and Stella.
4. A nod to origins

In a certain dialogue between Bloom and Beatrix, the fairy who possesses the Dragon’s Flame, informs that she was born in 2004, the same year in which the series created by the Italian Iginio Straffi TV arrived from the country that has Rome as its capital.
5. Shield

Alfea’s symbol in live-action features a centralized star in the middle of a shield with its swords crossed behind it, just like the shield present in the corridors of Cloud Tower in the 1st season of the cartoon.
