The singer is remastering all his albums after selling the rights to the songs to his former label Big Machine.
Taylor Swift announces re-recording of 1989 album. The album will be released on October 27th. He announced this on his Instagram page.
It is noted that its original version, released in 2014, included 13 songs, but the new version will contain five more new tracks that no one has heard before.
“The 1989 album has changed my life in countless ways, and it is with great excitement that I announce that a new version of it will be released on October 27th. Honestly, this is my favorite reissue recording I’ve done,” wrote the artist.
It should be noted that the date of the re-release is of particular importance, as the 1989 original was released on the same day in 2014.
