BTS’s Suga prepares to fulfill South Korean military enlistment according to BIGHIT statement
This Monday, 07, BigHit Entertainment confirmed that Sucks, from BTS, is preparing to fulfill his mandatory military enlistment in South Korea. The information was released to the public through a statement. Read below!
Hello.
This is BigHit Entertainment.
We would like to inform our fans that Suga has started the military enlistment process by requesting to cancel the postponement of his enlistment.
We will inform you about new updates in a timely manner.
We ask you for your continued love and support for Suga until he completes his military service and returns safely. Our company will spare no efforts to provide support for our artist.
Thanks.
Also, on a recent live on Weverse, Sucks reaffirmed when he intends to see ARMYs again, “If I say ‘see you soon’, it would sound like a lie. So let’s see each other again in 2025. Is that ok? Please wait a bit. 2025, let’s see each other soon. You guys were great. Bye!”.

The statement goes against what is expected by the group. That’s because, it is predicted that all BTS members will have finished their mandatory services in the year 2025, when they intend to reunite as a full group again.
Yet, with confirmation, Sucks will become the third member of BTS to go to the military, as the oldest member of the group, Jin was the first, enlisting in December of last year, while j-hope started to fulfill the military enlistment in April of this year.
It is worth remembering that the news comes a day after the end of the D-DAY Tour, which ended after 3 extra concerts in a row in Seoul, presentations that featured special appearances by other BTS members, such as Jungkook, Jimin and RM, each in one performance day respectively.
