Mixed feelings! This Friday, the 27th, YG Entertainment announced that boygroup TREASURE will make their long-awaited comeback later this year, however, to the surprise of fans, the return will be made with two fewer members: Bang Yedam and mashiho.
The two members will take a temporary hiatus as, Bang Yedam will study music in order to improve their production skills, while mashiho will travel to Japan to see his family and miss his native country.
The statement reads: “We always strive for the support and growth of our artists, putting their health first. After sufficient discussion with the TREASURE members, we decided to give the two members more rest, so we ask for your understanding and support.”
Therefore, the comeback, which is scheduled for the summer of South Korea (between the end of June and the beginning of September) will take place with the presence of ten members in total.
