Lessons we can learn from Alice in Wonderland

The classic tale created by Lewis Carroll can teach us valuable lessons for everyday life. Check out!

Alice and the Mad Hatter go through many adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass (Lewis Carroll), and these stories known and loved around the world can help you in your everyday life! Look!

1. Be yourself

Despite being a little crazy, one of the coolest characteristics of the Mad Hatter is that he has no problem accepting himself.

Tip: a friend doesn’t like the games you like? All good! He might have an opinion, while you might like what he doesn’t. People are different (which is super cool) and you don’t have to be like everyone else.

2. Education first

Whenever she approaches someone, Alice is polite—she tries to keep it that way even when she’s angry!

Tip: it can be in school, at home, at a game with friends… Always be polite! Greet, say thank you and please. And don’t lose your mind: if you get nervous with others, take a deep breath before speaking so you don’t regret what you said later.

3. Be adventurous!

In the face of the surprises that Wonderland brings, Alice always faces opportunities – even if they weren’t what she expected.

Tip: no sulking if your weekend plans don’t work out. Enjoy whatever fun comes along — and that goes for every day! You can discover adventures where you didn’t even know they existed!

4. Always learn

Alice never accepts any answer and is not shy about asking when in doubt.

Tip: exercise your curiosity! At school, if the teacher explained something you didn’t understand, raise your hand and ask! There’s nothing to be ashamed of—no one is obligated to know everything. It is always better to ask questions than not knowing how to answer the questions on the test.

5. Judge less

When meeting Alice for the first time, the Mad Hatter notices the girl’s hair and makes a criticism, which embarrasses her.

Tip: be careful when commenting on friends. You can talk too much and make unnecessary criticisms about the way they dress or wear their hair. Each person has their own way. So, before judging, think if you’re not hurting the feelings of others.

6. Your way

The Mad Hatter respects (and a lot!) his own time when he is going to do something, like having afternoon tea.

Tip: respect your limits! If you can’t keep up with the class rhythm in physical education classes, talk to the teacher so that, together, they find a way to solve this. The same goes for studies: just because your friends do their homework in minutes doesn’t mean you can’t take more time!
