Disclosure comes after ATTRAKT alleges that Warner Music Korea tried to convince FIFTY FIFTY to leave their current agency
In the early hours of Monday, July 3rd, the dispute between the FIFTY FIFTY, ATTRAKT, and Warner Music Korea gained a new chapter. That’s because ATTRAKT released an audio recording where the agency’s CEO, Jun Hong Joonand the executive director of Warner Music Korea, Yoontalk about a “buyout”.
According to the Korean portal Soompi, “buyout” is the term used for recruiting an artist even if a certain period of his contract with another company is still in compliance, but in exchange for the payment of a certain amount of money, he can have his contract terminated before the deadline.

CEO of ATTRAKT, Jun Hong Joon: “Yes yes.”
CEO Yoon: “I previously offered the CEO Ahn Sung Il [do grupo de desenvolvimento de conteúdo criativo The Givers] a purchase of 20 billion won (approximately US$15.3 million).

It is worth remembering that ATTRAKT announced that it would be taking legal action against Warner Music Korea accusing the company of allegedly trying to convince FIFTY FIFTY to leave their current agency. Warner Music Korea denied the allegations, but on June 27 ATTRAKT filed criminal charges against Ahn Sung IlCEO of creative content development group The Givers, as well as three other individuals.
Furthermore, on June 28, aran, keena, saenaIt is sitethe four members of FIFTY FIFTY, filed a lawsuit against ATTRAKT and requested the suspension of exclusive contracts with the company.
