Marion Curtile grew up in a family where culture is not everywhere, but where the taste of reading was passed on to him by his grandmother. “We shared this passion for books, he remembers. I read everything, especially the classics, which I loved. »

At the age of 17, he arrived in Paris and followed a course at Science-Po, where he discovered a different way of approaching literature through higher education.

I had an inferiority complex. I spent two years trying to catch up with what I thought was backwardness until I finally realized that I just had a different form of culture.

The future editor learns from it a taste of effort and a strong spirit of synthesis. After several years of buying textiles for a sports and leisure brand, the young woman took advantage of her maternity leave to put to paper the idea of ​​a book that had been close to her heart for a long time. Life is in for a big surprise for Marion, who in 2018 gives birth to a seriously ill and disabled little girl. Forced to stay at home to look after her child, the young mother sets up her own publishing house and writes a series of books. entitled The Adventures of Piwi Heart!which tenderly and sincerely narrates the everyday life of the disease. “We wanted to record what we felt in the moment before time rewrote it. Break the clichés and encourage passion

It was also around this time that she started writing workshops with her older children and several neighbors. A novel appears in a year, convinced that this young man has a deep desire to tell stories. “My daughter wrote her own book at the age of 11. I contacted the publishers to see if they were interested, but they didn’t accept minors. So I edited it myself and told myself that other passionate and talented young people must face this same age barrier. »

Marion then talks about her project at school and at her neighborhood bookstore. Today, he accompanies dozens of young people who write novels (Les Jeunes Prodiges) and younger children who write stories with several hands (Co-Scriptum).
