No more little barrettes, the daughter of Kate Middleton and Prince William seems to have made the braided bun her new hair signature.
On the occasion of the coronation of King Charles III on May 6, her granddaughter looked remarkable in an expensive and flowery tiara, but also in an elegant braided bun. A hairstyle that Princess Charlotte seems to appreciate, as it’s once again what she wore to the Trooping the Color event this weekend.

The daughter of the Prince and Princess of Wales really stepped out in London this Saturday, June 17, in a red and white dress that featured two braids that joined in a bun at the top of the neck.

This evolution of the double braid on loose hair seems to be her favorite hairstyle recently as the kid has sported this option for several masses. A hairstyle she regularly flaunts, sometimes accessorized with a headband.

Either way, Charlotte’s hairstyles seem to have always responded to cycles, first a square with a lattice, then a half ponytail, then a double braid, and now a braided updo. The latter seems to mark a new era, her grandfather’s reign, but also one where her parents were named the Prince and Princess of Wales, and where she became Her Highness Princess Charlotte of Wales.
