DESCRIPTION – Constant comments, polarized reactions on social media… the word is everywhere, sometimes toxic. What if you had to be silent to reconnect with the world?
The word opens, strengthens. From morning to evening it vibrates, sounds, sounds. From the first hours of the day, the radio pronounces the information and transmits the sound bites of politicians and commentators. Phone conversations in transport are necessary for everyone. Colleagues around the coffee machine laughing at the latest viral video… And on 24-hour news channels and social media, the feed is by definition uninterrupted, twenty-four hours a day.
Debates, discussions, conversations, dialogues, small talk arguments, monologues. whatever form it takes, the word is fine. This is the era of “I speak, therefore I”. This liberation is clearly accompanied by welcome progress, primarily for victims of violence (sexual, domestic, harassment, etc.) whose voices are loud and clear. Thanks to their testimony, finally heard, fear changed sides. But more broadly, too much talk has its downsides…
