HYBE and BELIFT LAB already have plans to debut their next girl group! The companies’ new girl group will be formed through the survival program “RU Next?”, set to debut on June 30 at 8:50 am ET on JTBC.
This Thursday, the 15th, JTBC, the broadcaster that will broadcast the reality show, announced that Sooyoung, a member of Girls’ Generation, will be responsible for presenting the competition. As reported by Soompi, after the news was released, the idol shared her feelings about being cast as the presenter:
“Watching many girl groups, I am shocked by their endless new plans and concepts, and I am even more shocked by their abilities,” said Sooyoung. “Although the girl groups that are actively promoting right now are my juniors, I am also their fan and an avid listener. According to JTBC, the program’s competitors will need to go through seven rounds of missions to compete for a place in the final lineup, which has not yet had the number of members revealed.
