Who are Ariel’s sisters in the live action?

Last week, the long-awaited live-action version of “The Little Mermaid”, an adaptation of the classic 1989 Disney animation, which features Halle Bailey giving life to princess Ariel and Jonah Hauer-King like Prince Eric. Check out the trailer!

According to an official statement from Disney, in the live-action, each of the daughters of King Triton and Queen Athena are responsible for representing one of the seven seas, and had their tails and hair inspired by exotic fish, as said by the costume designer. Colleen Atwood.

“We are inspired by exotic fish for the tails and hair of these aquatic women. It was a lot of fun to discover each fish and give it a human form. There is no more beautiful inspiration than the oceans and fish living on them, ”said Atwood.
