The first Brazilian live-action 3D children’s film is scheduled to premiere in July
Some of the most classic scenes from the fantastic universe of “Pluft the Phantom”, a film adaptation of the famous play by Maria Clara Machadocan already be seen in the trailer for the eponymous feature by Rosane Svartman and produced by Clelia Bessa, which also just got its official poster. Look!
Confirmed to premiere in theaters in July, the first Brazilian children’s film of live-action in 3D is produced by Raccord Filmes, co-produced by Globo Filmes and Gloob, distributed by Downtown Filmes.

In the story, the girl Maribel (Lola Belli) is kidnapped by the pirate Perna-de-Pau (Juliano Cazarre), who wants to use it to find the treasure left by his grandfather, the late Captain Bonança Rainbow. In the abandoned house where the old man lived, Maribel waits for the help of the sailors Sebastião (Arthur Aguiar), João (Lucas Salles) and Julian (Hugo Germano), very friends of the old captain, who go on a clumsy search for the girl. They never arrive and she ends up meeting the little ghost Pluft (Nicolas Cruz), who is terrified of people, Mother Ghost (Fabio Nascimento) and your family.
“Pluft, o Fantasminha” has investment from BNDES, Librelato, RioFilme, and was developed with funds from the Public Notices Program of the State Department of Culture and Creative Economy of Rio de Janeiro 2011/2012. The work had public resources managed by the National Cinema Agency – ANCINE and with investments from the Audiovisual Sector Fund – FSA managed by BRDE.
The official synopsis for “Pluft the Little Ghost” reads: “Pluft shows the unexpected friendship between the little ghost who is scared to death of people and the girl Maribel. She is kidnapped by the pirate Woodshanks, who wants to use her to find the treasure left behind by her grandfather, the late Captain Bonança Rainbow. In the abandoned house where the old man lived, Maribel waits for the help of the sailors Sebastião, João and Juliano, very friends of the old captain, who go on a clumsy search for the girl. They never arrive and she ends up meeting Pluft and his ghost family.”
