Check out some facts that don’t make sense about Diagon Alley, famous shopping center from the wizarding world of Harry Potter
In the Harry Potter saga, whenever a wizard needs to buy something they are always directed to Diagon Alley. The place is the main commercial center of the wizarding world, containing stores with everything that magical beings might need, in addition to having the main bank of the Wizarding World, Gringotts.
However, there are some points in Diagon Alley that end up not making much sense, as found by the ScreenRant portal. Check out some!
1. Monopoly?
Aside from small businesses in inner wizarding villages, Diagon Alley seems to be the only place wizarding folk can find the things they need, such as wands, books, brooms, etc. During the franchise, there is no mention of a wand shop other than Ollivander, or a bank other than Gringotts.
2. Customer satisfaction

Exactly because there is not much variety of stores, it is possible to raise a question: what if the customer is not satisfied with the products of that establishment, what happens? Do they buy even if they don’t like it? Or is there something that compels them to buy?
3. Security

Being a commercial center, Diagon Alley is always crowded, with the presence of the most different magical beings – including those who are not very well-intentioned. However, we never see guards or security around there. Are they in disguise, or are they simply not there?
4. Restaurants
During the saga, we are introduced to the Leaky Cauldron, one of the main meeting places for wizards. Located in Diagon Alley, in addition to being an inn, the establishment also has a pub, and is always receiving all those who need a place to stay, or just fill their stomach.

However, as found by the ScreenRant portal, in addition to it, no other restaurant is mentioned in Diagon Alley, making wizards need to venture into the Muggle world to get different foods.
