The remake of ‘How to Train Your Dragon’ already has a date for the kick-off of the recordings
According to Production List, the live-action “How to Train Your Dragon” will begin shooting on June 30th. The long has not yet had its cast disclosed, but it is likely that in the coming days the actors responsible for giving life to the DreamWorks characters will be revealed, due to the start date of the recordings being close.
The live-action will be directed by Dean DeBlois, writer and director of the animated trilogy, which had the first film released in 2010. Universal Pictures will produce the feature that is expected to arrive in theaters on March 14, 2025.
The entire “How to Train Your Dragon” franchise, which has a total of three feature films and a special on Netflix, is based on children’s books by Cressida Cowell. The three films have grossed over $1.6 billion, making them one of DreamWorks’ biggest hits.
“How to Train Your Dragon” tells the story of Hiccup, a young Viking who can’t fight the dragons, just like the other Vikings. But things change when he manages to approach a dragon, which he names Toothless, and tries to prove to the whole village that these creatures are not quite what they think. Remember the trailer!
