Mas Miró, eller, Mont-Roig, 2022. Còpia Digigraphie sobre paper Hahnemühle 325g30 x 24 cm Jean-Marie Del Moral
This year marks the double anniversaries of Picasso’s death and Miró’s disappearance, fifty and forty years ago respectively. Two artists who saw the same things painted them differently. Jean-Marie del Moral, for whom “the photographer is a lone hunter”, walked the roads of two villages in Catalonia: Horta de Sant Joan and Mont-Roig del Camp. Result: 60 black and white and color photos that note the similarities between the two imaginations. The same olive trees, skies, mountains, chapels or rocks… It took the delicate and poetic view of the great connoisseur of artists Jean-Marie del Moral to show that we are the children of our landscape.

Life is a party The latest burlesque creation by the Hounds of Navarre
Life is a party It is the last work of Jean-Christophe Muris and the company Les Chiens de Navarre (2022). The show has its own saying punch line “As long as man shall die, he shall not rest” by Woody Allen. An understatement, an anti-phrase like the title… After National Identity (in your arms 2017) and family neuroses (Not everyone can be an orphan , 2019), the troupe takes on the theme of madness. Our depressions are caused not only by our personal lives, but also by the state of the world. A stage script invented out of actors’ improvisations, a theater enhanced by the freedom left to each and the refusal to sanctify a form. Navarre dogs are always barking, even biting.
life is a party May 10 to June 3 at the Théâtre des Bouffes du Nord.

Pascal Demonon. the only one on stage
Pascal Demono on stage. photo press
This is the first time that actor Pascal Demolon (Camelot, Don’t do this, don’t do that, Radio stars…) goes on stage alone. History? The investigation of the murder in the village is taken from the novel by Julie Esteve. Simple. But in reality there is nothing. We understand from the beginning (or not, because this character is crazy) that the witness (or the accused, we are uncertain) is a bit mentally disabled. Pascal Demolon in a dance club, on his moped, caressing a notebook full of words about happiness as Darth Vader dances She is a lady A fan of Tom Jones, Dwayne Johnson, etc. In short, we travel in this village, but also (and above all) with this unfavorable head that unbalances all his senses. Great stage performance.
Who did what?until July 1, at the Theater de l’Œuvre.
