It shows footage shot throughout Russia’s invasion of Ukraine and tells the story of a child of war.

American rock band Imagine Dragons have released a video for the song Crushed. The video tells the story of a Ukrainian boy, Sashka, who survived months of shelling in his city.

The clip, shot in the village of Novogrigorovka near Nikolaev, destroyed by the Russians, which was under occupation for five months, shows the consequences of the war in Ukraine – destroyed houses, a school, gardens , craters from enemy missiles and shells.

At the center of the video is a 14-year-old teenager named Sasha. The front of his family’s house was also destroyed.

“Sasha’s story is heartbreaking, and there are thousands of others like her who need help. Even now, her family is without electricity and other basic communications,” the video described.

At the end of the video, a frame appeared with the following words: “Sasha and her family are hoping to get their home back. Like many others. They are still here.”

It can be remembered that Imagine Dragons earlier played a guitar with the autographs of all the band members in support of Ukraine.
