Jacob Tremblay defends Flounder’s live-action look

At the live-action premiere of ‘The Little Mermaid’, the actor defended his character’s appearance

Since the reveal of the visuals for the live-action characters of “The Little Mermaid”, numerous discussions about the appearance of Flounder, Ariel’s faithful friend, have come to dominate the internet.

I couldn’t imagine it any other way, if that makes sense. I thought it worked perfectly; it was a smart decision […] I think people should see the film, and then judge,” said the actor.
