For the past week, Wooyoung has been participating in ATEEZ’s activities sitting down due to his injury.
Last Sunday, the 7th, KQ Entertainment, the company responsible for ATEEZissued a note informing that the member Wooyoung will take a break from activities to take care of an ankle injury. In the last week, as reported by the Soompi portal, the idol had been performing sitting down due to the injury.
According to the company, Wooyoung will focus on his recovery with proper treatment and, for this reason, will not be able to participate in the group’s performances at THE DANCE DAY LIVE 2023 and KCON Japan, scheduled to take place this week. Check out the full statement:

This is KQ Entertainment.
It is with great regret that we convey the news of ATEEZ member Wooyoung’s health to the fans who have shown such generous love and care for ATEEZ.
Recently, Wooyoung suffered an ankle injury and has been focusing on recovery. Despite this, he has been performing on stage sitting in a chair due to his strong will to fulfill his promise to his fans.
As the pain continued, it was decided that he would need a full examination and treatment at a medical institution. After a long discussion with Wooyoung and all the other ATEEZ members, a decision was made to suspend Wooyoung’s schedule for a certain period so that he can undergo proper treatment.
As a result, Wooyoung will not be able to participate in the following schedules: ‘THE DANCE DAY LIVE 2023’ and ‘KCON 2023 JAPAN.’
We ask for your understanding as this decision was taken in consideration of Wooyoung’s health.
We apologize for the sudden news and will do our best to ensure Wooyoung’s speedy recovery as his health is our highest priority.

Currently, ATEEZ is preparing to make their newest comeback, set to take place in the month of June. The new release, however, does not yet have a confirmed premiere date.
Formed in 2018 by KQ Entertainment, ATEEZ consists of eight members: Seonghwa, hongjoong, Yunho, yeosang, San, mingi, Wooyoung It is jongho. Their most recent comeback took place in December 2022, with the mini-album “SPIN OFF: FROM THE WITNESS”. Check out the video for the title track “HALAZIA”!
