Behind these false images, bluffing but fictional, we find the so-called generative artificial intelligences (AI). The most famous? Dall-E (which reads “Dali”, pun), Stable Diffusion or Midjourney.
From simple text called “hints” and with almost child-like simplicity, these new tools enable the creation of synthetic images. If the visuals produced until recently lacked precision and remained easily traceable (especially in terms of hand displays), the new Midjourney update last March marked a technological leap; the images are almost perfect.
