Understand what happens in the post-credits scenes of the new Guardians of the Galaxy movie
“Guardians of the Galaxy vol.3” finally hit theaters this Thursday, the 4th. And like every Marvel movie, it has post-credits scenes. James Gunnthe director and screenwriter of the feature, had already confirmed that there would be two scenes.
But what happens in each scene and what do they mean?

Both scenes hint at the future of the Guardians and show no connection to the Marvel multiverse being created on the big screen. It is worth noting that the studio has not commented on a possible continuation of this franchise of heroes and so far, this is their last feature.
First Scene
In the first post-credits scene, the audience sees the new formation of the Guardians of the Galaxy, which includes Rocket, Groot, Cosmo, Kraglin, Adam Warlock and Phyla-Vell. The excerpt shows the group on a distant planet, facing an alien invasion, and all this to the sound of “Come and Get Your Love”, the theme song from the first film in the franchise.
Second Scene
The second scene, which takes place after all the film’s credits have been shown, shows Peter Quil on Earth, in his grandfather’s house. The two talk about the tenant who never showed up and who in the future could become a headache for both of them.
Also, Peter’s grandfather is holding a newspaper and one of the news reports about the actor’s abduction Kevin Bacon by aliens. This is a reference to the heroes Christmas special, titled “Guardians of the Galaxy: Holiday Special”, which is available on Disney +.
At the end of the scene, a message appears that can make fans very hopeful. The phrase “Star-Lord will return”, indicates that there may be a solo project for the character of Chris Prattor even, that he might appear in the next Avengers production. These are all guesses, as Marvel has not said anything about the matter.
“Guardians of the Galaxy vol.3”, features the return of the entire cast: Chris Pratt, Zoë Saldana, dave bautista, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, Karen Gillan It is Pom Klementieff. It also has some additions, such as Will Poulter It is Maria Bakalova. Remember the movie trailer!
