Check out some bizarre fan theories about classic animated series
Something very common among animation fans are the famous theories, responsible for trying to explain some moments of their favorite productions that are not very well clarified. Thinking about it, Recreio separated 5 theories created by fans about some animation series. Check out!
1. Professor Utonium, father of the Powerpuff Girls, and Samurai Jack are the same person
This theory is already well known by fans. It emerged after animation lovers noticed some physical similarities between Professor Utonium and Samurai Jack, where they claim that the two stories coexist in the same place, only at different times. However, the hypothesis was denied by the creators of both productions.
2. The Flintstones and the Jetsons live in the same year

Both created by Hanna Barbera, the animations “The Flintstones” and “The Jetsons” present similar but very different stories. Both follow the story of a family, the Finststones and the Jetsons, but one takes place in the stone age and the other in a futuristic society. However, some fans claim that the productions may take place at the same time. The only difference would be that Bedrock would have decided to abandon technology, deciding to live like our ancestors, while the other did not.
3. SpongeBob and the inhabitants of Bikini Bottom are the result of a nuclear bomb

Through the official synopsis of “SpongeBob”, we discover that Bikini Bottom is located under Bikini Atoll, a place known to be used for tests involving nuclear explosions. Thus, the theory says that all residents of the Rift would have been created thanks to the strong radiation of the place.
4. Danny Phantom and Timmy Turner are the same person

As with Professor Utonium and samurai Jack, many fans began to notice similarities between Danny Phantom, from the animation of the same name, and little Timmy Turner, from “The Fairly OddParents”. One hypothesis states that, after losing Cosmo and Wanda when he turned 13, Timmy decided to start fighting ghosts.
5. All of Ash’s adventures in ‘Pokémon’ are the fruit of his imagination

An old theory about “Pokémon” claims that Ash’s adventures never happened and that, in fact, the boy would be in a coma. According to her, everything would have happened after he fell off his bike after being attacked by several Spearow, while Pikachu uses a thunder shock at the same moment that lightning falls from the sky in the first episode.
