The moment is coming! This Monday, the 17th, j-hope, a member of BTS, shared through social networks his first photos with his hair shaved for his military enlistment. He is due to report to the South Korean army to start his mandatory military service between today and tomorrow.
On Instagram, hobby shared the selfie along with a handwritten note, which read “I will go and come back in good health.”
On the WeVerse platform, j-hope published other images, where he appears saluting. In the caption, he said “”I love you ARMY 🫡💜 I’m going and I’ll be back well!”.
Furthermore, the BTS members have also started posting their farewell photos alongside j-hope. The first was Jiminwho released a selfie with his friend through WeVerse.
j-hope will be the second member of BTS to enlist in the military. The first was Jin, which began its mandatory service in December last year. The other members of the group must report to the armed forces following their personal plans. The boygroup, however, is only expected to reunite with its full lineup only in 2025.
