In a recent episode of ‘Simpsons’, BLACKPINK participated in a different way and surprised everyone, including the members
With 34 seasons, “The Simpsons” always had guest appearances and mentions of artists who are booming in the real world. And it couldn’t be different with BLACKPINK: one of the girlgroup’s songs appeared in one of the most recent episodes of the yellow family.
The scene shows Lisa, the eldest daughter of Homer and Marge Simpsons, who is in the back seat, while her father drives. Homer asks if the girl wants to listen to jazz, her favorite genre of music, and she replies, “I’m not in the mood for jazz. Let’s hear my second favorite…’
Homer tries to guess what style of music the girl is talking about, and goes so far as to name several different genres like salsa and old-school rap. Until Lisa says, “I like K-Pop, Dad” and he tries to pretend he knew it all along.
From there, everyone in the car, including Duffman, starts singing and dancing to BLACKPINK’s “Lovesick Girls”. Watch the moment!
Through social networks, fans showed surprise when checking out the group’s music in the animation, with a publication made even by Jisoo, who asked “Is this really real?”. Check out some reactions!
