Ariana Grande suffers from hypoglycemia, a hormonal disorder: “I was not at my best version”

Actress and singer Ariana Grande has received endless negative comments due to her apparent weight loss. In the photos she posts on her social media, she looks much thinner than usual.

Tired of criticism, the translator of The Way defended herself and revealed the illness she was suffering from: “I have hypoglycemia, so sometimes I get worried if I forget to eat. As a child, I turned into a Tasmanian devil,” she explained.

This condition can cause anxiety, dizziness, pain and, in the case of Ariana Grande, weight loss. “I don’t do it often. I don’t like it, I can’t. But I just wanted to answer your concerns about my body and talk a little about what it means to be a human with a body, to be seen and to have so much attention,” she wrote on Tik Tok.

Similarly, she asked her followers – and those who don’t – to be kind to all people, as they don’t know if she’s experiencing the same health issues as her. “I think we should be kinder and less comfortable commenting on people’s bodies no matter what. If you think you’re saying something nice or well-intentioned, whatever, healthy, unhealthy, big, small, this, this, sexy, not sexy. We just shouldn’t.”

Also, Ariana Grande He assured that a few years ago he did not look healthy, on the contrary, “it was his worst version”: “I also wanted to say one thing, there are many different types of beauty. There are many ways to look healthy and beautiful. And for me personally, the body you are comparing my current body to was a less healthy version of my body. I was on a lot of antidepressants, drinking with them, eating poorly, and I was at the lowest point in my life when I looked like they think I’m healthy, but it wasn’t really healthy.”
