It will leave Buckingham Palace through the central gate and pass under Admiralty Arch before passing through Trafalgar Square, Whitehall and Parliament Street to Westminster Abbey, where the ceremony will begin at 11am.
A route that Charles III and his wife Camilla would take there and back, which should allow the public to see them twice. The only downside is that this route is only part of the route taken by Elizabeth II at her own coronation in 1953. The palace has omitted large sections of the route, which may punish some Britons who want to admire the royal procession. On the outward journey, King Charles III and Queen Camilla will ride in the Diamond Jubilee State Coach, which was built for Elizabeth II’s Diamond Jubilee.
