After confirming his enlistment, GOT7’s Jingyoung posted a letter to fans on his Instagram.
This Wednesday, the 5th, JTBC News revealed the enlistment date of jinyoung, a member of GOT7. According to a source from BH Entertainment, the idol will be enlisting on May 8th, to receive basic military training and fulfill his duty as an active-duty soldier.

The weather got warmer. Everyone is well?
All of you must have been very surprised after coming across my enlistment news through reports. As it was revealed, I will be enlisting in the military on May 8th to fulfill my military duties.
Everyone must be very worried, but I was very confident and reassured by meeting all of you. That’s why I promise to come back more mature and in good health after experiencing a lot while thinking of everyone.

please note that jinyoung made his debut in 2012 through the group JJ Project and “Dream High 2”. It was only in 2014 that he became a member of GOT7.
Formed in 2014 by JYP Entertainment, GOT7 is made up of mark, jay b, jinyoung, Youngjae, jackson wang, BamBam It is Yugyeom. The group’s last comeback was in May 2022, being the first release after leaving the agency, in 2021. Check out the video for “NANANA”.
