The question of where exactly Eurovision 2023 will be held in Ukraine will be discussed in the near future.
The Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine announced that Eurovision 2023 “100%” will be held in Ukraine. This was stated by the head of the department Alexander Tkachenko on the air of the telethon.
According to him, the ministry denies the possibility of holding a song contest outside Ukraine.
“The competition itself is in Ukraine. Who is starting to say,” let’s find spare sites. “No, it’s 100%,” Tkachenko said.
He also added that the question of where exactly Eurovision 2023 will be held in Ukraine will be discussed in the near future.
Meanwhile, Tkachenko noted that the previously possible location for the show in Ukraine would be both the city of Mariupol and the city of Kalush would be symbolic.
Recall that the victory at Eurovision 2022 with 631 points was chosen by the Ukrainian group Kalush Orchestra. This means that next year the competition will be held in Ukraine.
