What are the most important animations in the story?

Even in prehistory, cave paintings already demonstrate (in a way) man’s desire to make inanimate figures gain movement, as there are records of drawings on walls, ceilings and other surfaces of caves of animals with more paws than usual, in an attempt to illustrate that those animals were moving.

However, the art of giving life to characters and inanimate objects, better known as animation, took shape a little over a century ago with the creation of cinema, more precisely, 11 years after the arrival of the first film in the world, “The Arrival of the Train at the Station“ (1895), by the French Auguste It is Louis Lumière.

From then on, great titles began to debut and win the hearts of many people over the years, some of them, being passed down from generation to generation, as legacies of the creative minds that have already passed through the Earth.

Meanwhile, others of them also stand out for being revolutionary for their time, responsible for transforming the history of world cinema. Thinking about these productions, we have put together a list of 5 of the main animations in the world below:

1. Humorous Phases of Funny Faces

Regarded by film historians as the first animation film to be recorded on a photographic supportas Rolling Stone magazine points out, the film was shot in 1906 completely in black and white by the English James Stuart Blackto.

Three minutes long, the scenes show drawings of a clown, a man with an umbrella and a man next to a woman. Check out!

2. Phantasmagorie

A first animation that comes to life through a cinema projector Modern was created in 1908 by the French Emile Cohl. Just over a minute long, the drawing uses the stop motion technique to present the inventor of this animation drawing a doll that ends up going through several transformations, living adventures worthy of losing one’s mind. Look!

3. Steamboat Willie (“Steamboat Willie”)

Released in 1928, the third title starring Mickey Mouse became the first animation with sound. The story that was created by Walt Disney, accompanies the studio’s most beloved mouse as a helper on a steamer.

4. Flowers and Trees (“Flowers and Trees”)

Part of the Silly Symphonies series, the short was released in 1932 under the Disney imprint. The animation, which follows the fights and passions of flowers, mushrooms and trees in spring, is directed by Burt Gillett and the first color drawing in history.

5. Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs

Hitting theaters in 1937, ‘Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs’ became not only the first full-length film adaptation of a fairy tale produced by disneyas well as the world’s first animated feature film.

The plot accompanies the young Snow White who has her life hunted by her stepmother, the Evil Queen, after the magic mirror considers the girl the most beautiful in the entire kingdom.

EXTRA: Toy Story

The list wouldn’t be complete without ‘Toy Story’, animation released by Pixar in 1995 that became the First computer-generated design. The plot that was commanded by the filmmaker John Lasseterfeatures the adventures of toys that come to life when humans are not around.
