Some of Disney’s classic animations have scenes that continue to raise doubts in many people. Know the answer to some!
Disney animations are classics that span generations and continue to be loved by millions of people around the world. However, as in other films, there are always those scenes that raise great doubts in audiences of all ages.
Why did Shang abandon Mulan? And no one else in Cinderella’s realm had the same shoe size as her? Find out the answers to these and other questions below.
1. Why didn’t Cinderella’s glass slipper return to normal?
In the magic cast by the Fairy Godmother, everything that already existed and was transformed into something else should return to its normal state after midnight, just as happened with the carriage, which returned to being a pumpkin. The glass slipper is different from these objects in that it was not transformed from something else, but created from scratch. For this reason, it remained intact even after the time set for the spell to end.
2. How come no one in the kingdom wore the same shoe size as Cinderella?
Taking into account that the plot takes place in a small village in Europe around the 18th century, it is likely that there were not so many people living there. By restricting the search to only single women who were around Cinderella’s age, the number is much smaller, as are the chances that more people are the same size. Furthermore, the shoe had been made to fit perfectly on one specific person’s foot, not several others.
3. Why didn’t Ariel write while she couldn’t speak?

By exchanging her beautiful mermaid tail for human legs, Ariel automatically lost her voice due to her contract with Ursula. As the princess ended up signing everything without reading what was written, it is very likely that the rule was included that she could not communicate by writing or by signs, using only body language. We have to remember that this is a magical contract, so even without reading everything, the magic became responsible for preventing her from not following the agreement.
4. If in Beauty and the Beast, the prince was cursed until he was 21, and Lumiere sings that they have been rusting in the castle for 10 years, does that mean he was only 11 when he received the curse?
According to the narrator’s speech, the rose would bloom until the 21st year, and would begin to wither after that time. Going by that logic, the prince could have received the curse at any point in his life before the age of 21, and remain frozen in time until the spell was broken and he could age again.
5. Why did Shang abandon Mulan after discovering her secret?

The answer to that question is cuter than we imagined. According to Chinese law, if Mulan was caught pretending to be a soldier, both she and her father would get into big trouble, one for false identity and the other for failing to do his duty. That way, when Shang lets her go home and not be seen with the other soldiers, he is, in a way, protecting the life of the woman and her father.
