With premiere scheduled for this year, ‘Spider-Man: Through the Spider-Verse’ will win a short before its release
This Wednesday, the 29th, Sony Animation announced that it will release a short film of “Spider-Man Through the Spider-Verse” before its premiere. According to Variety, the production will have an exclusive premiere in June, at the Annecy International Animation Film Festival and will be titled “The Spider Within” (still without a name in Portuguese).
The story will show Miles Morales, the protagonist of the two Sony animations, trying to balance his personal life, such as studies and friends, with his duties as Spider-Man, the neighborhood hero. On a specific day, where he experiences a panic attack, Miles realizes that asking for help turns out to be an act as, or more, courageous than protecting his city.
The official synopsis for “Spider-Man: Through the Spider-Verse” has already been released, and it points out that the neighborhood friend and the other Spiders needed to deal with new threats and protect the multiverse. However, a conflict of ideas arises in the group, which makes Miles rethink what it really is to be a hero. Watch the trailer!
It is worth remembering that on June 1st, “Homem-Aranha: Through the Spider-Verse” will hit the screens of Brazilian cinemas and that the third film, entitled “Spider-Man: Beyond the Spider-Verse” (in free translation, Homem-Aranha: Beyond the Aranhaverso) already has a premiere date: March 29, 2024.
