Design collaborations of the moment not to be missed at Ikea

It’s spring cleaning time, the perfect opportunity to make some changes at home. The Swedish furniture giant collaborates with great designers to the delight of decorating enthusiasts.

Spring cleaning is coming up soon. Is your furniture boring you? Don’t like the color of the sofa and the lamp is outdated? Here are the latest Ikea collaborations not to be missed. Swedish house mafia music group, British designer Ilse Crawford or even Marimekko, a pillar of Scandinavian fashion and design… all have competed in creativity to enliven our interiors.

Marimekko’s Bastua collection

First, hit the sauna with the Bastua collection, available from early March. The Marimekko brand was inspired by Finnish saunas for its design and signed a bold and colorful collection. We find the pattern of green rhubarb leaves, a plant that sometimes grows next to saunas in Finland, or graphic lines reminiscent of sauna benches. Around twenty pieces, produced in limited quantities, thus offer a slice of Scandinavia with atypical designs, such as the raw wood mirror, that will blend perfectly with current decor.

The Varmblixt Collection by Sabina Marcellis

Sabina Marselis has teamed up with the Swedish giant to offer the Varmblixt collection, which is based on the play of light, colors and temperature with warm shades of orange tones. The award-winning designer also plays with geometric shapes and volumes, as for this donut-shaped orange lamp, chosen by all the decorating magazines. The pieces are less than 200 euros, except for the wool rug, handmade, in sunny tones.

Unlimited collection

The news will please the fans of the Swedish house mafia. The Swedish electro group has teamed up with Ikea to offer an all-black collection. A minimalist floor lamp for €79.99, an original clock that reinvents time, a faux fur rug and mules, a large, well-thought-out desk, ideal for placing their collection… The group knew how to put their paws on character. in all these pieces.

Collection designed by Ilse Crawford

Ikea and British designer Ilse Crawford have teamed up once again to create a collection of elegant and timeless accessories made from authentic and durable materials such as glass and bamboo. Eiles Crawford designed glass vases, ceramic candles and bamboo pendants in the imagination of her main light fixture, Sinnerlig, which has attracted many decor enthusiasts. Count on €6 to €12 for a candle, €40 for a pendant and around €15 for a character vase.
