BI is the star responsible for stamping the cover of the first Brazilian k-culture magazine
Attention South Korean pop culture fans! Bringing an unprecedented model of magazine in Brazil, Hit!Magazine has just arrived on newsstands, a new magazine that aims to bring South Korean artists closer to the Brazilian public through exclusive content, photos, interviews, posters and much more, with the partnership with the group Perfil, the same publisher as Recreio, Rolling Stone Brasil, Ana Maria, Caras, among others.
In its first edition, the person responsible for stamping the cover is the soloist BI, which is also featured on the exclusive poster. But, do you know who he is?
Who is BI?
kim hanbinor simply BI, is a Korean rapper, singer, songwriter and record producer. He used to be the CEO of his agency, 131 Label, but recently stepped down to focus on his music.
BI made his debut in 2015 at YG Entertainment as the leader of iKON (a group that now belongs to the company 143 Entertainment), where they released hits like “RHYTHM TA”, “Love Scenario” and “KILLING ME”, however, the idol ended up leaving the group in June 2019 and is currently pursuing a solo career.
His stage name, which is an abbreviation of “Be I” and translated literally means “Being me”, already demonstrates the artist’s desire to be recognized for who he really is and, as a composer, BI lives up to his stage name by introducing us to his history and imagination through music.
The latest release of BI was the mini-album “Love or Loved, Pt. 1”, released in November 2022, and which features the hit “BTBT”. Remember the video for the title track “Keep me up”!
Hit!Magazine promises to warm the hearts of Hallyu culture fans by reliving the nostalgia of having favorite content in collectible and printed editions such as: exclusive interviews with Korean artists, Korean cuisine, fashion inspired by k-dramas and K-Pop, K- beauty, among others.
