The long-standing friendship between Andy and his toy cowboy Woody is one of the sweetest things about Pixar’s “Toy Story” movies. In the movies, we discover that Woody is a collectible toy from the 1950s, and that Andy has had him since he was very young. It is worth remembering that some theories created by fans claim that Woody may have belonged to Andy’s father, who had the same name, and was passed on to the boy before the patriarch died – and it would be exactly for this reason that the little one would be so attached to the doll .
The same theory also claims that Woody never got to comment to Andy about his first owner just because he didn’t remember. According to the hypothesis, Andy Senior would have suffered from polio as a child and, upon recovering from the disease, ended up moving with his family to Seattle, where he meets Emily, his future wife and mother of his two children, Andy and Molly.
