In 2012, Disney released the movie “Wreck It Ralph”, bringing a lot of nostalgia and fun by presenting new unforgettable characters wrapped in a backdrop that brings many memories to lovers of old arcade games.
The feature, which was nominated for an Oscar for Best Animation, revolves around Ralph, who, tired of being despised as a villain in his own arcade game, decides to change his destiny with a plan: to become a great hero by conquering a coveted golden medal. Still, things get complicated when he approaches the racer, Vanellope von Schweetz and discovers secrets about the world they know.
Carrying a huge legion of fans, the animation, despite its huge success, has some moments that don’t make much sense in its history — and Recreio will show you five of them now. Check out!
1. Gold coins
In the arcade, so that Sugar Rush drivers could see who would be in the next day’s races, they needed to compete where, to participate in the dispute, it was necessary to throw a gold coin. However, the big question is: if someone lost often, he would lose all his gold coins. However, the only way to get new ones is to run — but to run you need coins.
2. Forgetting that Vanellope is a princess
At the end of the movie, after the Sugar Rush code is reset, everyone in the game remembers that Vanellope is a princess, justifying why the girl was treated badly by them. However, what isn’t explained is how the characters in the other games forgot about her.
3. Where does the Vanellope kart come from?
When Vanellope decides to participate in a race, she ends up using Ralph’s gold medal to compete. However, despite winning, Taffyta and the other racers destroy their kart, and in order to get a new one, she and the big guy participate in a minigame. But the big question is, if Vanellope needed Ralph to get a kart, where did her first cart come from?
4. How does Vanellope not know how to drive?
With the new car in hand, Vanellope and Ralph need to escape the King Candy crew – but the girl ends up revealing that she doesn’t know how to drive. If King Candy didn’t take away her steering skills, how did she have such a hard time getting them back?
5. When was Vanellope arrested?
After Ralph destroys the car he built with Vanellope so she can no longer race for her own good, she escapes and, out of nowhere, appears in a prison. The film does not explain how the girl got there and, likewise, it does not talk about how Ralph discovered her location to save her.
