So far, Marvel has yet to confirm any other projects involving the Scarlet Witch.
Elizabeth Olsen, actress who plays the Scarlet Witch in the films of the Marvel Cinematographic Universe, the MCU, as reflected by the Omelete website, said that she expects redemption for her character in the studio’s next productions. Also, in ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’, Wanda Maximoff revealed herself to be a very unsafe being. To the website ScreenRant, the actress said:
“We can do anything with her now! I feel like we’ve done a lot. Now we can really have fun; I feel like there’s a lot more humor to be had with her. She’s often the emotion of a story and I’m curious to see what we can explore . And hopefully we can give her some redemption.”
Although Kevin Feige has already confirmed the presence of the character in other Marvel productions, his last appearance was in the film ‘Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness’, and the next title in which the Scarlet Witch will be present has not yet been revealed.
Last year, in an interview on Good Morning America, Olsen spoke about the future of the character she plays within the MCU. At the time, the actress said: “Nobody tells me anything, and I’m not even hiding a secret, because I suck at it. I have no idea what my future will be.”
