Seth Meyers expressed his disgust Thursday at a new report about the “strange eating habits” of Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (R).
According to The Daily Beast, a former staffer of DeSantis said the potential 2024 GOP presidential nominee “sat down in meetings and ate in front of people, always like a hungry animal that had never eaten before…bullshit. everywhere”.
Once, according to the story, DeSantis ate a cup of chocolate pudding with three fingers.
“Did you eat the pudding with your fingers? It’s not very DeSanitary,” Meyers said. “You can’t use your fingers to eat pudding. Here are the rules: if you have pudding but no spoon, then you don’t have pudding.”
“You should eat more like Donald Trump,” the “Late Night” host added. “If you were on a plane next to a guy who was banging Miss Swiss and asked him to move, and the flight attendant said, ‘The only seat available is next to a guy eating KFC with a knife and fork,’ you says, “Yeah, I think I beat the pudding guy on that one.”
