Jiminmember of BTSis responsible for the newest cover of Vogue Korea magazine and, during the interview, revealed details about his long-awaited solo debut, scheduled to take place on March 24 with the album “FACE”.
During the conversation, Jimin revealed that the album will be autobiographical, and even made a comparison between its release and that of MRIleader of BTS, who released his first solo album late last year.
“It’s an autobiographical album, but I hope everyone who listens to the song will feel comforted and relate to [com a faixa] as if it were your story. Regarding RM’s solo album released at the end of last year, RM expressed that the B-side of the album are songs that make you want to ride a bike. After listening to that album and going to a cafe you like, if you concentrate on listening to my album, I believe you will have a perfect day.”, said the idol.
About his work, the star revealed that he often thinks about how happy he is thanks to his members, fans and team, who are always by his side. “It gives me strength. Incredible energy is released when my sense of responsibility as a member of BTS, the happiness when I’m together with the members, and my gratitude for the unchanging love of the fans mix together.”
Jimin he still shared that he remains rooting for the future activities of the BTS members, and that he always gains motivation by thinking about his members: “I am often consumed by the fear of having started my solo journey, and I gain strength by thinking about the members”.
With the release of “FACE”, Jimin will become the fourth BTS member to debut as a soloist. The first of them was Sucks with the release of the solo mixtape, ‘Agust D’, in 2016, followed by j-hope, which in 2018 made its individual debut through the mixtape entitled “Hope World”. Finally, MRIwhich in December last year released its first album “Indigo”.
