VIP salon – Celebrities flocked to the inauguration ceremony Walk(s) in Champagne, the artistic Carte Blanche entrusted to Eva Jospin by Ruinart. The event took place at Carreau du Temple in Paris.
It was in the presence of many personalities from the world of art and culture that Maison Ruinart opened its artistic Carte Blanche at the Carreau du Temple in Paris. The 2023 vintage was signed by the French artist Eva Jospin.
Charlotte Rampling, Pierre Nini, Lou Doillon, Lena Mahfouf, Audrey Tautou, Chloë Juanet, Panayiotis Pascoe, Jean-Charles de Castelbajac, Jan Artus-Bertrand, Willy Cartier responded to the champagne house’s invitation to unveil the exhibition. Walk(s) in Champagne.
My proposal for this artistic reinterpretation takes the form of a journey with a sculptural decor that pays homage to this landscape.
Eva Jospin
During the visit, guests were shaped into a cardboard landscape, a unique panorama interweaving the cycles of history and vegetation. A topic dear to the artist. This artistic reinterpretation was composed of around twenty works that represented Eva Jospin’s vision of the champagne terroir.
Comprised primarily of cardboard, the artist’s favorite material, his installation takes on a series of works, high reliefs, drawings and embroideries that revolve around Carmontel, an Enlightenment invention that echoes the 18th century history it saw. The birth of Maison Ruinart.
