“Hunger Games” star Jennifer Lawrence is a desperate woman who answers an ad to seduce a Princeton nerd in a trailer for “No Hard Feelings.” (Watch the video below.)
Fans on YouTube, where the preview dropped on Thursday, seemed pleased with the change of pace in the Oscar winner’s career.
“This made me laugh,” wrote one. “A perfect film for Jennifer to show her comedic side,” said another.
The sprawling sex comedy features Lawrence’s character offering double entendres such as: “Do you mind if I touch the frankfurter?” to the boy (played by Andrew Feldman), holding a dachshund.
She tries to show him the ways of the world to no avail, while he seems to win her over as a loving home.
One of the surprise moments features a barely recognizable Matthew Broderick, who plays the boy’s father, urging Lawrence’s character to “go out with him, go out with him.”
“I’ll meet his mind,” he jokes.
