Coming to theaters in 2010, “Tangled” was the 50th feature film released by walt disney studios. The production is inspired by the tale of Rapunzel, from the Brothers Grimmwhich features a long-haired princess who is imprisoned in a tower until she is saved by Prince Charming.
As reported by the New York Film Academy, “Tangled” is the most expensive film ever made in motion picture history, with a budget of $260 million and a profit of approximately $592 million. In addition, the work is in fifth place on the list of the most expensive films in the world, including animations and live-action.
However, despite being a huge success, and having a huge legion of fans to this day, the plot still has some details that don’t make much sense — and we’re going to show you now. Check out!
1. The inhabitants of the kingdom do not recognize Flynn
Upon entering the kingdom, Flynn and Rapunzel come across several wanted posters of the man spread across the region. That way, it was expected that everyone would recognize him, as his face is literally everywhere — even if his nose was drawn wrong. The problem is that this does not happen, and only the castle guards recognize him. How was that possible?
2. Mother Gothel’s Plan Wasn’t Very Effective

By keeping Rapunzel trapped in the tower, Gothel aimed to use her magical hair to stay young forever. However, how would she maintain her youth eternally when Rapunzel herself ages like an ordinary person? What would she do after the princess reached a certain age?
3. Rapunzel was able to adapt outside the tower without any problems

Rapunzel spends years trapped in the tower, with no contact with anyone but Mother Gothel, until finally freed by Flynn. Following this logic, it was expected that she would have great difficulties in society, ranging from possible illnesses thanks to low immunity, to even the lack of some skills, such as swimming. But none of that happens.
4. Rapunzel’s braid is too small

According to Disney’s official website, Rapunzel’s hair is exactly 20 meters long, where if they were placed next to each other, end to end, they would add up to approximately 300 kilometers. However, when the princess decides to tie all that hair and turn it into a braid, it does not exceed 5 meters. How did she manage to make it so small?
5. Rapunzel didn’t realize before that something was wrong

Yes, Rapunzel has been manipulated by Mother Gothel her entire life, but there are some points in her life that she could have questioned, such as the fact that she doesn’t look like Gothel, the possible origin of her powers, or even recognizing a resemblance to the lost princess of the kingdom.
