‘The Last of Us’ season 1 finale will be available on HBO and HBO Max
Next Sunday, the 12th, the last episode of the series “Tthe last of us”, the latest HBO success that was inspired by the game franchise that bears the same name. However, production fans will need to stay tuned, as the grand finale will be made available an hour earlier than usual.
Through social networks, the broadcaster announced that the season finale of the series will arrive on HBO and HBO Max at 10 pm on Sunday, 12, in response to requests from fans. Previously, episodes were released at 11 pm.
Being extremely anticipated by fans, the 9th episode of “The Last of Us” should “massively divide people”, as said by the actress Bella Ramseyresponsible for interpreting the protagonist Ellie, during an interview for the Vogue website last week.
However, despite the fact that the end is getting closer, there is no need to worry. The series had its second season confirmed by HBO at the end of February, through an announcement on social networks. However, the new episodes do not yet have a release date.
Inspired by Naughty Dog’s game franchise, “The Last of Us” addresses the story of Joel (Pedro Pascal) and Ellie (Bella Ramsey), a duo formed 20 years after a Cordyceps fungal mutation that almost drove humanity to extinction.
In the plot, the duo needs to face challenges, threats and losses in order to remove Ellie from the quarantine zone, and make sure that the girl has her condition studied by the Vagalumes, since she is the only survivor exposed to the virus who did not die, and can contribute to for a cure to be developed.
