“Creed III” star Tessa Thompson finally gave in and tried eggs after years of denying ever eating the dish. (You can watch the clip below).
Thompson, who reprises her role as Bianca Taylor in the boxing movie, told “The Tonight Show” host Jimmy Fallon that she has never eaten hard-boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, deviled eggs or “scrambled eggs” because of the misinformation.
“My parents never told me that the eggs you eat will never become chickens, so morally, they should be chickens one day,” Thompson said.
He added that he later distrusted eggs because they “change shape”.
“It’s suspicious as a child if you think about it,” Thompson said.
“I was so serious about it. I didn’t even eat eggplant for a long time because I thought it was related. I was so addicted.”
In a 2012 interview with Ladygunn, Thompson said she had a difficult time with all animal products as a child and, at the time, had never eaten a steak before fellow “Creed” actor Michael B. Jordan to push her to try his first bite. . .
Thompson, whose “Creed III” co-star Jonathan Majors ate about eight boiled eggs for breakfast, later tried his own scrambled eggs — with hot sauce — thanks to a dish served up by Fallon.
“Actually, they’re not bad,” she said, after her first bite of the omelette.
