John F. Kennedy and his siblings spent their summer vacations at Valbon Estate in the 1930s.

Inside, this 1,160 square meter home features a grand staircase and floors (also marble). This estate, set on a wooded hill, once belonged to the Kennedy family, who vacationed there. A little while ago, it was put up for sale by Sotheby’s for 31.5 million euros.
The work of the architect of the name
The property, located between the villages of Valbonne and Mougin, a few minutes from Cannes, therefore has an exclusive villa built in 1920 by the world-renowned architect Jacques Kuel.
The residence, which is located on eighteen hectares and has fifteen rooms, including nine bedrooms, hosted the future president of America John F. Kennedy and his siblings during the summer. Their father, Joseph Patrick Kennedy, was then the United States Ambassador to Great Britain in the late 1930s.

A spacious and legendary housing stock
This isn’t the first Kennedy property to make a splash in the real estate market. On the American island of Martha’s Vineyard, Jackie Kennedy’s sheepfold was put up for sale in 2019 for a modest $65 million (€61.3 million). Two years later, his townhouse in Washington was put on the market for $10 million (€9.5 million). After the murder of her husband on November 22, 1963, she took refuge there for a year.
