With the ad, j-hope will officially become the second BTS member to enlist for South Korean mandatory military service. Before him, Jinthe oldest member of the group, was the first to report to the army, with his enlistment taking place on December 13 at the 5th Infantry Division’s recruiting training center in Yeoncheon, Gyeonggi Province.

However, before carrying out his enlistment, the idol announced the release of a new single titled “on the street”. According to BigHit, the track is intended to share the sincere feelings of j-hope for fans, where the title makes a reference to the “roots of j-hope — street dancing — where his dream of becoming an artist began.” The premiere of the song is scheduled for March 3, at 2 am (Brasília time).
