American rock band Kiss joined in the celebration by posting on social media a photo of the Carnival in Cajamarca, accompanied by a letter of thanks.
From his Instagram account, where he has over 2 million followers, a group led by Gene Simmons shared an image of a group of people dressed and made up as Paul Stanley, Peter Criss and Ace Frehley appearing on stage.
“Kisses everywhere!” — wrote the group at the beginning of the signature. “How amazing! Kiss at the Carnival of Cajamarca, Peru! Thank you Yvette Paredes Perez for sharing with us!” he added.
The picture also shows that the followers, who have chosen to describe themselves as a rock band, are located on the outskirts of the parish of San Pedro, in Cajamarca. A real tribute that did not go unnoticed by the authors of such songs as “I Was Made for Lovin’ You”, “Forever” and “Rock and Roll All Nite”.
Kiss in Lima
Last May, kiss proposed a concert at Arena 1 in Costa Verde as part of a tour that marks his farewell to the stage after almost half a century of activity.
The return of the quartet to our country was a special and emotional milestone for its followers. This was the last time the band played live in Peru after deciding to end their musical career after nearly five decades and having sold over 100 million records.
“End of the Road”, touring with which kiss decided to close his musical chapter, it was the biggest production of his career, which included explosions, fireworks, a giant screen and other special effects.
