Camila Morrone will never forget the day Argentina won the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
On Friday’s episode of “Jimmy Kimmel Live!” the Argentinian-American actor recalled how a broken doorknob trapped her in Robert Pattinson and Suki Waterhouse’s spare room just as she was about to leave the couple’s London home to catch December’s epic clash with France in a pub .
The “Daisy Jones & the Six” star managed to watch part of the finale on her iPhone, blowing international dates in the process.
“Batman” star Pattinson and model Waterhouse happily returned from a Christmas family reunion in the countryside to free Morrone.
They broke down the door, but Pattinson accidentally slammed it, trapping the trio inside.
After having to watch several parts of the match on his smartphone, Pattinson eventually fended off the group with the help of a credit card and scissors.
“It’s like a Macaulay Culkin movie or something,” Kimmel joked.
